Established in 1925, the Cleveland Airport System had established itself as the primary gateway for air travel in Northwest Ohio. Serving over 12 million passengers annually and a growing roster of partner airlines required a clear position in both local and national markets.
Working closely with the Mayor of Cleveland and airport executive management, White Horn Group helped articulate positioning and achieve consensus for a bold new identity. Establishing a clear name as CLE – Cleveland Hopkins International Airport created a sense of both history and destination for both the City of Cleveland and the facility itself.
Our unique ability to create consensus within complex organizations delivered complete agreement for all participants which was translated into an effective identity system. Our dynamic and effective applications covered every aspect of the facility from directional signage, communications to vehicles and uniforms – dramatically showcasing the growing importance of CLE to the City and to the world
